The Book Auction is back!

Calling all book lovers! Local authors are running a book auction (online) to raise money for the East Yorkshire Food bank starts today. It runs 6th to 20th October 2023.

The auction is online – so anyone can bid from anywhere in the country. It’s a great chance to pick up an unusual gift for a booklover.

What’s in the auction:

For readers: The lots include signed copies of books from a variety of genres (romcoms, crime, sci fi, fantasy, saga, and books for kids). You can also win a chat with one of your favourite authors or the chance to have your name (or the name of a loved one) included in a book.

For budding writers: manuscript critiques and feedback on your first three chapters and/or submission letter.

Most of the authors who have donated books have a connection to East Yorkshire and include some well known favourites like Val Wood, Bella Ellis/ Rowan Coleman, Jessica Redland  and Alan Johnson. You can even bid on a chance to have feedback on your own writing, a have Zoom chat with a bestselling author or to have your name appear in a romcom.
